Aluminum Hydroxide can be used as a halogen-free flame retardant due to its well-distributed granularity, good stability, non-toxicity, and non-pollution performance. The effect is excellent when it is applied in heat-shrinkable material, plastic, and rubber reinforcement, especially in some insulation material such as unsaturated polyester, epoxide resin, etc. KMT Industrial supplies mainly three grades ATH, A-1, A-3.5, and A-10. A-1 is widely used in cable compound, to identify the performance of A-1 in cable compound, we have compared the mechanical performance of A-1, Germany ATH, and American ATH. Table 10 is the test formula, and we can see from the test result, A-1 is very competitive and it can alternate American ATH in terms of its performance in the same test formula.
